My Favorites is a View option that allows a user to setup My Favorites folders with links in the left sidebar to areas that are most be commonly utilized within BIS. Then, simply by double-clicking the link BIS will launch that area in the My Desktop main area to the right. This is especially useful for users that are not familiar with the program or who may not use the program frequently.
My Favorites is a view option that is selected (or deselected) by going to View and checking My Favorites in the menu.
Also note that to select links from My Desktop, the My Desktop must be visible. To do so, check My Desktop in the View menu as well.
Start by right-clicking in the My Favorites window area and selecting Add Group to place a group folder in the area.
Right click the Group folder to Rename the folder as desired. In the My Favorites Group Properties form, enter the desired name and click OK.
Now to drop links into the group folder from the My Desktop area, left click and hold down the mouse button to drag any desired link to the group folder. Links may be to a master record forms, transaction forms or report query forms.
Users may create as many group folders as needed.
Group folders as well as individual links may be deleted as needed simply by right clicking the item and select Delete to remove.
